My name is Rowan Schneider, and I am a neuroscience major with a mathematics minor at Agnes Scott College, graduating in May 2026.

My interest in neuroscience was sparked during an introductory biology class where I presented on crayfish neurobiology and the effects of serotonin on aggression. Since then, I have been immersed in the field neuroscience through lab work analyzing crayfish behavior under nicotine administration as well as looking at anxiety and depressive-like behaviors in C57BL6 mice.

Currently, I am eager to delve into more lab work regarding the systems underlying addiction behavior and eventually earn a PhD in neuroscience.

My most relevant coursework and presentations are accessible in the headline above!
